Infiniti School Sixth Form prepares our young people for adulthood and their transition from Y11 to sixth form. We are committed to outstanding progress academically and holistically for our young people as they prepare for adult life. Therefore, each student’s sixth form experience is personalised, meaningful, and appropriate for their needs.
The transition for students from key stage 4 to sixth form is important for every young person and is the point at which young people start to plan for their futures and can tailor their education to their interests and ambitions. Students at Infiniti School sixth form can make this transition with the support of dedicated and experienced teaching and support staff providing a wraparound package tailored to the needs of each and every student.
Infiniti School sixth form students enjoy a rich timetable of studies and activities ensuring they have the best possible chance of securing qualifications in the core subjects as well as within their chosen options. They will also be offered physical education and therapeutic and academic interventions to support their transition to adult life. Careers advice and guidance is ongoing for our sixth form students as they prepare for employment.
Students can choose to study from a wide selection of courses such as Public Services, Sport, Childcare, Food and more. The sixth form provision is then complemented by work experience within relevant sectors in the local community.
Where appropriate, students will also have the opportunity to resit core subjects with the support of our subject specialists. Infiniti school has excellent links with the local community and this provides opportunities for our students to volunteer and gain wider experience as they prepare for working life. Alongside subject and course delivery, students will engage in a range of trips and activities in line with their studies.
