Safeguarding

Safeguarding at Infiniti School

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students is at the heart of everything we do. Every member of staff, governor and volunteer at Infiniti School shares responsibility for keeping our students safe, and we are committed to creating a calm, secure environment where every young person can thrive.

Our approach

We follow the statutory guidance set out in Keeping Children Safe in Education and work closely with the Kent Safeguarding Children Multi-Agency Partnership, local authorities, and other agencies to protect the welfare of every student in our care. Our full approach is set out in our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy available in our Policies section.

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) has overall responsibility for safeguarding at Infiniti School and is supported by a team of Deputy DSLs across the school day.

  • Designated Safeguarding Lead: Natalie Finlay, Senior Pastoral Lead / Family Liaison Officer / DSL
  • Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead(s): Billy Jones, Carrie Conroy & Anna Daly

If you have any concern about the safety or welfare of a child, please contact the DSL directly using the details above, or speak to any member of staff, who will act promptly.

Keeping our students safe online

We take online safety seriously and have a dedicated [Online Safety Policy](LINK TO CURRENT PDF) covering how we support students to stay safe online, both in school and at home. Guidance for parents on supporting safe internet use at home is available from UK Safer Internet Centre and CEOP.
